Axel
This little boy recently moved from our neighborhood and we miss him and his family very much! He would come to the bike shop everyday with his sister, Moxie. Most times he was dressed in a full suit, complete with bow tie, top hat, pocket watch and cane. I’ve never before met two children with such wonderful & unique personalities.
I’m sure their parents played a BIG part…they are pretty unique themselves!
At first, Axel seem OK with having his photo taken. With each consecutive shot, however, he was becoming visibly distressed. His face got all wrinkly and tense. I don’t know the first thing about taking photos of children, and just explained to him that he doesn’t have to pose anymore for the camera if he doesn’t want to. He bolted at that point…and so did his sister.
The next time he came into the bike shop, he had his own camera and he was the photographer!

My husband Fred & I own Zion Cycles, a bicycle shop in Springdale, Utah - just outside of Zion National Park.
I live, eat, breath, sleep & dream about Photoshop. Sick...I know.

Total cutie!
