Angst – Experiment In Masking
So what do we have here…
A photo that failed miserably. With those hands cut off and all, I was screwed. I couldn’t even get any help from Photoshop. Truth be told, I tried… hard. My skills are just not there yet (replicating extremities may forever be beyond my abilities). So, I took this opportunity, knowing full well this would never be a portfolio piece, to practice my hair masking/compositing techniques.

Thanks to Calvin Hollywood and Matt Kloskowski, I was able to extract my most fabulous hair mask ever!
Lighting:
Main light – One AlienBee B800 on camera axis in large softbox, 3′ above subjects’ head
Rim lights – Two AlienBee B800′s each in gridded stripbox to the side and slightly behind subject

SIETE BRAVISSIMA…
Vi volevo chiedere alcune cose riguardo al DVD di Calvin Hollywood (anche io l’ ho comprato). Ho fatto alcune prove ma con scarsissimi risultati. La mia domanda รจ questa: ma si devono seguire tutti i passaggi come lui descrive nel DVD, oppure dipende dalle foto e dai gusti. (A me interessa arrivare allo stile di Calvin Hollywood, e voi ci siete riuscita alla perfezione). Sarei contento se mi rispondeste. Vi ho aggiunto anche su Flickr. Grazie.
