Hi,
I just wanted to say I think your work is fantastic!
I really need to get and learn how to use Photoshop.
Randi
Great gallery, I like the before-after comparisons a lot! Best regards from Germany,
Bruno
Hi, came across your website, really love the stuff! Have been doing a bit of retouching myself, how do you get those gorgeous brown tones on the skin on all your portraits?! Would love to get some pointers to try and achieve the same – been trying to do something like this for such a long time.
thanks! – mark from scotland
Hi Mark,
Thank you very much for your compliment.
I think the brownish tones are achieved with the Selective Color Adj. layer. I mainly adjust the reds and sometimes the yellows. I also use the Plugin from OnOne…PhotoTools. Some of those filters may also give the toning that you notice. Mainly, I am trying to eliminate the color cast, but often, I introduce one.
Hope this answers your question.

Hi Regina, you’re doing great work. I was wondering if you got your skin retouching from Amy through Retouch pro or did you purchase her DVD set?
I’m sorry, I just noticed that you’re referencing Natalia Taffarel not Amy.
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your comment…
I have Natalia Taffarel’s retouching DVD, but does Amy have one, too?
I’ve only watched her videos on RetouchPro.
Hi Regina, i just found your pictures on flickr and your profile Headed me to Your Homepage . I live in Germany and i am admiring Calvin too. I saw him twice live and he is besides a Photoshop expert a Great Entertainer too. Greetings to America from Good Old Germany
I’ve thanked you before, but after finding you on 500px and looking over your amazing work, I had to thank you again. Your technique is perfect and I can’t tell you how much I love looking at your work. I think you could make a sack of fertilizer into a glorious portrait! Thanks again for all your posts. I always look forward to seeing more… Wes
So, inspired by your work?
Hello Regina, I’m sorry if you do not understand well but I do not speak English XD.Io like you’ve seen the DVD of Calvin Hollywood “Calvinize” and would like to know what steps do you use for your images (again after taking a picture perfect already) . I’ve seen that often put the description of retouching on your photos, but I would like to know a little more about how to set the work. Thank you very much if you help me XD. Hello.
I found your website from Photoshop Support Group in Flickr. Your imagery and photoshop are astounding.
